Colorfully entertaining picture! Wonderfully done! I, for one, like the sharpness of the backround. Everything looks perfect. This would have been a ten, for me! |

Greetings from the Critique Club
The first thing that strikes me of course are the ears. Big and perfectly extended, You left no guessing of the size relation here. Focus is good and the lighting is perfect, no hot spots. While the composition is pretty good its still almost centered but because of the ears and slight tilt, I think it works well here. I like the colors, the green really helps bring him out but with a bit more contrast, he might really pop out even more from the limbs behind him. The background color is wonderful but the texture competes with my eyes for attention. Most commenters have suggested a blur there, that would really emphasize the subject. The size is also an issue, people here like to see things as big as possible so they can really appreciate it. Make sure you size it 640 on the longest end and save for web. That usually does the trick. The title is good but you might have thrown a few voters off, I know I had to look it up.
With all that said, I do really like this picture. Its fun, almost comical and definately unusual. The beauty in the eyes and soft face are so loving like a new puppy. Brings a big smile to my face. His expression shows the viewer that you definately have his attention but he's not even worried enough to stop eating. Love the curiosity of his overall expression. |

Love those ears! This could appear in one of those funny caption contests and get some hillarious entries. Makes me smile |

Great expression and composition. I would have liked to see this a little larger and perhaps the background (particularly on the right) a little darker. Great work though. |

this is a good picture. i think it might have been more effective to adjust the depth of field to blur out the background. this would put for emphasis on the subject. |

I would love to see this image large. Too funny! For some reason it kind of reminds me of Walter Matthau. I think the background could use a little bit more blur to keep it from interferring with the subject so much but still good colors and focus. Good luck on the challenge.

What big ears - no, not big - HUGE! Good shot, although a shame that the submission is a bit small - I think you may find you get marked down for this. |

This is a great picture, I'm just afraid that this will be voted down because of the size, you should use the 640 pixels that we are allowed to use in challenges. |
