 Editing: Crop, levels, select background, remove noise on background, invert selection and do more levels on horse alone, clone out little stick on the horse, resize, unsharp mask, shapen tool on eyes, hairs and nose, save for web.

My husband had been driving me around all afternoon looking for horses to photograph. I did lots of spotted ones and white ones and even mules and burros but this more ordinary colored horse had the cutest look on its face that I decided to use it. It was such a friendly horse. Taken just before the sun slipped down.

The horse looks like he's smiling! I like the sunlight on the one side of him, and his eyes are in sharp focus. Nice DOF as well. He really stands out well. :)
