| great studio shot,love the little splinters on the pencil,the led greatly good in focus,love the way the focus is only in the middle of the pic,then fades out of focus LOVE IT |

An extra point because it is not a tumble-down building, abandoned car or weather ravaged tree.
The shadows are a bit harsh, but the sharpness is great. |

| One of the questions I ask myself when voting is, if it weren't for this challenge, would this picture have been taken? Would this scene, or this setup, have been something someone would have created or photographed if they were just trying to get a good shot, without thinking about any sort of contest or category? I think the answer here is no; while this picture clearly fits the challenge, it has absolutely no reason to exist outside of the challenge, and that's why I'm voting low. |
