 From a practice session at my studio, my sister Sara as the model. A small softbox pretty close on the right, a siver/gold reflector on the oppisite side and a umbrella bouched off a white wall to the left. The radio was an idea we had on set.

Greetings from the Critique Club!

This is a wonderful image and I love the colors, the set up, the lighting, the focus, the model's look. It's a great overall shot. I scored it high during the challenge, the only thing missing was the hair, though I can't talk, I had pretty short hair during most of the 80's as well, LOL!

There really isn't much for me to offer in the way of critique, it's a great shot.

Pose is good, "boom box" is a little small for the 80's...they were huge back then. (hmmmm, come to think of it, is that a CD player? They would not have existed back in the 80's in that style)

Hey, I recognize this shot :) Nice work, although the CD player isn´t really fitting with the 80´s theme at all... Hope you do well in the challenge :)

Good composition and you would never leave your ghetto-blaster at home in those days. Colours are spot on. It's the 80's all right. I think I would have made more out of the woman, not the blaster, a little out of balance, but I like it.

Good portrait, the radio doesn't look very eighties with that cd player, lcd and round forms but I don't care. 8

I quite like the shot-- great lighting & colors. Would have probably worked a bit better with a casette tape boom box-- this one feels a bit to contemporary.
