Wonderful image this! Very nice. A little dark at the animal's head, perhaps, but this image packs a whollup!

A very good idea for the challenge. The play of light and shadow works very well. How did you get the dog to pose for you like that? |

Face is a little dark, but the contrasts are communicated so clearly! |

I love the tones in this image. The contrast is great, and despite the high contrast, nothing "too bright" . The bright parts of the dog might be pure white, but it goes well with the photo. good job, 8 |

Very interesting, nice job. If you could have got a little more detail without losing the effect of the shadows it would have been super. 7 |

Is that one of those rare zebra-hounds? To be serious, this is a great shot. The b&w is awesome in my opinion. 8. |

I tend to be biased towards animal shots, I love them. But I think this one is particularly interesting beacause of the stripes. He also looks like he is sitting almost upright and leaning against the back of the chair. I do wish there was a light stripe over his eye so it was more visiible and could get more sense of his personality. I think the ear sticking up is great and the fact the he stayed still long enough to set up light and shot is testament either to his obedience or your skill as photographer-- i ll let you decide which : )
