| Personally, I like the border effect, but wish it ran all the way into the corners. Good exposure, focus. |

| Can't imagine why anyone would try to DQ this. I'm a sucker for feathers, and this shot is very interesting. I'm not entirely crazy about the border, but not grading down for it. I like that the feathers look like they were just blown away and landed in a group; I like the somewhat "high-key" approach, and the way some of the feathers blend into the background. . |

| Man, I ALMOST love this image. What happened on the edges? If it's lighting, respond and I'll raise my vote. If it's a 'frame' - it ruined a great shot, imnho. |

| I think what works for me in your photo is that the colors of the feathers and of your background are pretty much the same shades, produces a monotone feel (even though i see it is not one color : ) ) The similarities in color also help the feathers look like they are floating which gives it a light airy feel, hence supporting your title nicely, nice shot. |
