Solarized? Something looks really freaky about this, and it just doesn't do it for me. The sun looks like when the old reel to reel movies would burn if left in one spot too long.

neat idea, but the unnatural greys in the snow don't work for me

Interesting look--what post-processing brought this about? Makes me think of some kind of animated Christmas TV show. Unfortunately, pics with this much of a post-processing look usually don't do well here.

The inverted look does not appeal much to me. The sun look so unnatural.

I love this photo. I would really like to hear how it was done. The trees almost look like cut outs and the whiteness of the sky is really great. It looks like a fantasty scene.

I'm sorry, but this does not appeal to me at all. It looks like you have discovered the solarizing filter and are trying it out on on the first image that came to hand. This image itself looks like I would like it in its unprocessed form.

Very strange effect on this one. It looks almost unreal. The extreme smooth foreground adds to the unreal look of the image. I don't know what to vote this one on, but for now I will give it a 7

It's disturbing and intriguing at the same time.

I just love the snow colored trees and the mountains behind them.... my personal taste is the huge sun/light in the sky overshadows them and takes away from the beauty of a winter forest
