Greetings from the Critique Club...

If you request a critique from the critique club, you should always fill out your 'Photographer's Comments' field when you submit your photo. When you don't include your own thoughts on the image, you can't really expect someone else to give their time and effort to give you a critique. It makes me think that you don't care enough about your own photo to take the time to post your thoughts on it...

As far as this image is concerned, it's rather bland. The overall tonality of the photo is very flat, which doesn't lend itself well to a great black and white image. You should probalby play around with this concept some more trying different lighting schemes and compositions to work it into something more intriguing :)

Very crisp and focused. I feel the eye should be at intersecting thirds. Slight bit of light bounce on the forehead and cheek.

yep... no emotion, which makes the picture a bit boring

Interesting crop. I would probably have cropped the top a little tighter. Some reflections on the skin, but otherwise really nice. Works well as a duotone.

This puzzles me. Where is the catch light in her eyes? A light source is present as seen from the shine on her forehead but is not apparent in her pupils.

Excellent title, that's what I thought of the photo, before reading it. That bumped it up for me.
