This would have been cute, but the blur and brightnes really detracts from it.

Not fond of the blur or harsh lighting.

Cute! My only gripe is that with being high key, you kinds lose her nose a bit.

Definately a cutie! I'm not sure I care for the overall brightness - in this case I don't think it really 'fits' with the subject being all 'dressed up'. I think this treament would work better with her dressed up as, say, an angel, or perhaps a flower girl or something. Here it just washes out the 'painting' she's been doing.

I think with a less harsh light source this would be more effective for me and I would have scored it higher. I like he big, bright eyes - and the beaded necklace. :)

It's very very bright. Did she do her own makeup? ;p

Cute model. Seems a little overblown in the white areas. I like the slight off center positioning.

Too vivid and blown out...the effect just doesn't work with this image. The eyes are very soft, and not a real "meaningful" expression on the child's face...it looks like she just stopped interacting in her "world" long enough to look up at someone behind the camera. I have a feeling a lot of voters are looking for your stereotypical "model", so that may hurt you. Kudos for going a different route. This also could have been cuter if it were a full body with lots of makeup bottles/brushes/etc. scattered about, or if she was peaking through "mother's" jewelry box, etc. That way the viewer can know a little more about what's really going on since the model's face isn't necessarily telling a story. The shadows on the left and bottom right are distracting as well. I'd love to see the unedited version!

colors are extremely blown out to me....to the point of being distracting. Good positioning though.
