Thank you for the comments. I have some shots without the highlight, and the cloth is invisible more or less, I prefered having the bit of cloth at the bottom and I liked the highlight *shrugs*.
It was taken through an approxmately 8" diameter glass globe which had some lines in it from the manufacturing process using water as a lens through a sphere caused some spherical and chromatic aberrations which i liked, but this and the lines could be mistaken for digitization problems I suppose.
I got the idea for this from a site with someone holding up a fresnel lens in front of their head and only their eye was on their shoulders. I didnt have a fresnel lens or a large enough globe to do that, but I thought the distorted enlarged eye looked interesting. |

Good subject idea, was this actually taken through a fishbowl? |

interesting idea for this challenge. the water bubbles suggest that you are looking through a waterfilled object. i like the bubbles. was there a way to avoid the highlight (probably from your lighting source) and the not quite straight background cloth? they are a little distracting in my opinion. btw, are your eyes green? i love green eyes! :) -- gr8photos (4) |

This is a neat shot... I really like your concept on this one. I originally gave this photo a 7 but I'm gonna bump it to 8 after looking a little closer.... This is very imaginative and a well done piece :) = 8 - jmsetzler |

The lens has some very distracting bubbles in it. Maybe the face was a little toooo close? Some digital distortion, esp. around the eye and nose. Photo 7 Transparency 8 total 7 swash |
