Greetings from the Critique Club

Hello! I've just wandered through your other Challenge entries, and lunix, I Love the way you see things and photograph them. You have a real artist's eye. Keep up the good work.

This subject, photographed in your own unqiue style, is beautifully captured.

Unfortunately, it does not meet the preconceived concept of "Comfort" in the minds of our voters. Thus it did not score well.

Not Your Fault!

I can easily see that this piece of furniture, decrepit as it may be now, once held innumerable people in comfort. And even now, next to the dust bin, it does have that stately bit of charm that attracted you and now, after looking at it, me.

So, thank you for finding this and photographing it. I shall look forward to seeing more of your work.

Alice

I like the angle of the phot more than I actually like the chair, but I don't think of comfort - I feel like I want to slide off the edge.

Very interesting. I don't know why, but I'm drawn to this photo. 7

Tilt works well sometimes, but in this case just isn't doing it for me. I'm not sure just why... Hmm, I think partly because it brings the black thing more to my attention, draws away from the chair. When I tip my head and have a good look at the chair itself I enjoy the weathered lines, the curve of the shadow across it.

Ouch, it doesn't look too comfortable does it :)
