| Personal tastes differ but to me it looks like the rose is just there because you wanted something in the picture. Also, it's a quibble, but it looks to me like the light source was actually moving around in the picture; "painting with light" is a technique where you have a darkened subject and you use a movable light (like a flashlight or laser pointer) to illuminate it, as if you were "painting" the light onto the subject. You're not alone; I've not seen many photos in this challenge that meet the technical description. |
