 In case you didn't know, ants are very fast. Too fast really, when your trying to shoot them macro with shallow dof and a handheld camera. I think I took about 50 photos like this and only a few turned out alright.

I like this shot, but I think I would have liked it croped down a bit. Too much of the picture is out of focus for my taste. Nice work though!

Good use of DOF and composition though a little more contrast would help emphasize the ant.

Unfortunately I don't really get "garden" out of this one. I mean if I know that's the challenge I get it, but if I didn't know anything about it this wouldn't communicate "garden" to me. I like the effect in general. Maybe a little closer to the ant would help...but in a way its kind of fun to look for the subject.

the focus in thins shot is poor and the background especially I thing you need to make it a bit mor seeable

I wished you had cropped the top 1/3 of the photo. When I first see the photo I see the ant and the middle of the picture which is blurried. If that blurried part was away from the center, I could focus more on the ANT.4

Like the title, concept and overall framing, but the DOF lacks a bit. All that seems to be in focus is one ant's butt.
