*Critique Club*
"Orchid" is a nice flower piece in the Square Crop challenge. I have to say wow three challenge so far, you are really doing good. Also placing in the upper fifty is always good.
The piece is a nice bright image among several bland images we have to vote through. I really love the colors of the orchid. I think maybe the placement of the flower could be just a little better. With a square crop it is really nice to have a full frame or with a delicate subject like this have it centered or placed on one of the lines that would fall in accordance with the law of thirds. I like the focus on the main flower but there is something that is taken away from the other flowers, Since you did include them I would make sure they look nice. The flower on the lower left side just looks so fake from this perspective. I really like how all the fade into black at the stems. Overall this is a nice flower shot. Keep up the good work you are defiantly on your way. |

| Very pretty, and great clarity and colors. The composition could be stronger. Maybe by tilting a little and moving the main flower towards the upper corner. It feels like the main flower is too centered and the surrounding flowers are chopped off. |

| wow! st8unning colours and great against the black background...the flower on the right is a little distracting and could have been better out of focus a bit as it's vying for attention |
