| Ahh, its a shame that the focus hurt you so bad on this shot - its an excellent macro. The colors in your lighting are wonderful. |

It's actually cotton. The blue came from me holding a transparent blue plastic object between the cotton and the light, and the red came when I held my finger over the flash (while pressing the shutter with my, um, third hand?).

Thanks for the kind words. I had a feeling that it wasn't going to be like most submissions due to the abstractness. I'm happy with the photo, and it's nice to see that some do not mind it being abstract!

I agree that the not having anything to focus on can be a problem, and I'm going to address that more in the future.

| I love the abstract look to this. It feels soft and fluffy, which seems like a believable place a soul would float to me. I think the colors are great, but I do wish they were actually a bit more vibrant, I don't mind the soft almost pastel-like hue of them, but it seems as though there is a slight dulling of the color for some reason. I've no idea what went into creating the image so I couldn't say if it was because of not enough light or what.. but if there was just a bit more punch I'd like this even better. I didn't vote on this challenge or anything but I think this did far worse than it should've. I think its a great representation of the theme you chose and of the challenge. |

| I like the idea, but it seems a bit oversaturated or something. Not 100% sure about that. Is it smoke or clouds? |
