 I was very fortunite to be able to watch and photograph a fair "Dinkie-die" Aussie Cobbler at work, making shoes.

I feel very honored and proud to have done this. Not everyday does one come accross a Cobbler at work. I asked him not pose, but go about his daily chores, and that is how I wanted to capture this image.

He works for "Tafi Shoes", a small enterprising company, who manufactures beautiful comfortable handmade fashion shoes, here in Caloundra, on the Sunshine Coast, where I live.

They have a small retail shop with a factory attached, so I was very prevlidged to have had this chance to photograph him and his work.....

wow, what a perfect subject for this challenge. I just wish the light weren't so harsh and flat and that the focus were sharper.

What a heartwarming interesting photo. An actual shoemaker. I love this one. I would have loved to have been there to watch him work. Wonderful!
