This is a picture of my girlfriend in her strange and weird world. There is something about her that is so sexy though. In this picture her shoes are on the wrong feet, her one pant leg is up and although she is very loving her personality pushes you away. Picture was taken in Sepia and cropped.

--Let me just say that this was one of my first pictures (if not my first) that I put on DPC. I had an image in my head but wasn't able to get it to a digital image. I know the sheet was wrinkled and the shoes don't make sense but that was what I wanted. I wanted the whole picture to seem out of place but because this was my first I wasn't sure how the voters would take it. Well surly I found out. I have learned a lot since then and I still have a long way to go before my ribbons start coming to me.

Hmmm... why is she so sad? She doesn't look to me to be thinking about running. What does the teddy have to do with thinking, running, or shoes? How does the wrinkled sheet fit in? When I think about running, I do it in my house, or on my patio, putting on my shoes. Why is one leg rolled up and the other not? It's got a lot of good elements (in fact, all the ones I just mentioned are good elements), but better suited for an "emotive" challenge.

That sheet is screaming, "IRON ME!!!!"

like "AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!"

-- I strongly recommend getting the wrinkles out of your backdrop next time.

The background does not fit the mood attempting to be portrayed.

iron your backdrop or put your subject far enough away that the back drop is out of focus!

She is a little too old to have her boots on the wrong feet - great idea for a composition - the background is not quite thick enough to keep distractions at bay and the focus is not quite on - maybe you could have gotten her expression in by shooting from her boots up?
