 These were my husband's first shoes. I would have loved to shoot my mom-in-law holding these, looking at them with a nostalgic look - but she is 5 hours away :(

All auto settings on camera and macro.

Editing -
In ACDSee: Crop, auto levels, sharpen, blackpoint, gamma, slight desat.
In PSP7: Sharpen, edge preserver, border, and re-size.

We all can relate to this photo. My eye would have been more
pleased if there were not wall showing in the back. I am sure
you must have tried it both ways and have a reason....

Love the worn look of these very classic toddler shoes, may have looked better with black background as this blanket doesn't seem to compliment the subject.

The color and texture on the shoes is great, however I don't like the use of the towel. Probably would have been better closer up to really enphasize the ruggedness of the shoes.

I like the texture and tones in the shoes, and the setup's nice, but I'm just not sure about the background. I find it a bit distracting.
