Very frightening picture. It's made more disturbing by the out of focus person holding the weapon. Good call on using black and white. |

I like how this one isn't in the center like the other one (tho i like that one too). But you see the 'bad guy' too and that helps round out the picture. Good job. |

The scop just becomes a dark blur. I would remove it and have the shooter lean over the gun more intensely. I don't like the white background , either. It's distracting.

You and I will be thought of as a couple of weirdos . Nice job nutcase! well framed and good focus selection. I think these shots use the 90% out of focus well, your's much better than mine but I believe mine is more fearsome and "In Your Face" phycho. Voters will either love it or hate it but the anti gun folks will keep the scores too low to be in the top 10%. I do think we have touched the fear nerve in most people though. good luck------10

Good composition. Maybe if the barrel was pointed up just slightly . . . . |

Excellent. I love the narrow DOF and the focus on the barrel. I'm sure when it's pointed at you, you see that and nothing else. |

Should have shown the other person as this person does not show fear. |

Well executed shot. Focus on the muzzle, good thought, that's the danger spot. Maybe a bit overly gray/black, lacking lighter contrasts. 7 Swash |

I don't think it's the weapon that scares me it would be the person who had it and would think of this |

Nice photography. I like the dof. I was going to do the same type of photo - just didn't have time. Definately staring down the barrel of a gun instills fear. Just one small thing - As I scrolled down the page and part of the top (just below the scope) is not visible - seems more effective - mostly just the barrel. I can't keep my eyes off of it. But I'm sure it would've been hard to crop that way. EXCELLENT - 10 from me! Ruthann |

I wonder if, in real life, the potential victim would REALLY focus on the muzzle or on the assailant. But, it is scary anyways! |

A better depth of field would help...... but still keeping the face obscure |

I like how you've used shallow depth of field here....nice fear image! |

Good fear shot :) i think the depth of field here draws the eye directly to the barrel of the gun.. good work! I would have possibly dusted off the end of the barrel though :) = 6 - jmsetzler |
