 Okay I've had this idea for quite some time now. I've just been waiting for the right moment to try it out. I only wish it were a member challenge so I could really do some work with the hand.

I know what you're thinking...how did he get that shot of the Darth Sidious' hand? Surprise! It's my lovely wife's hand!

Shooting details:
Long exposure / Painting with Light setup. I wrapped my wife's arm in a black cloth and used a blue LED light to create the electricity coming out of her finger tips. I also synced my flash to the rear of the exposure and placed an 8 1/2 by 11 piece of paper on a 45 degree angle to avoid blowing out the hand. Only took about 10 or so takes to get the desired effect.

Post processing details:
Open in Adobe camera RAW.

Sat: 0

Nice idea, colorful, striking, ghostly, and effective. Consider bumping black level to remove the background, but it's OK as is, since the draping looks like a sleeve.
