nice use of black.
but the shell looks kind of awkward?
I think it's how it "sits" on top of itself?
I'm not reall explaing my self very well am I?
Oh well!
perhaps if this was shot from a different angle?
There, that's what I meant to say :-) |

i think a thin beige border would have really strengthen your score, but it wouldn't help convey a reflective feeling perhaps you were also trying to achieve. I see two black spots along the shell edge. I only point them out because it shows that the bg should have had a small level adjustment as they seem to be true black. |

Beautiful lighting ... worthy of framing. |

Really like how the black background emphasizes the shell and its reflection. Nicely done |

Very nice! I think I would have liked it better with a little less black space around the shell. I'd also like to see either a little more light into the front interior or a little less. |

Nice capture and good idea. Unfortunately I am looking at this on my TFT laptop and I see the two little round circular brush marks middle up and left on the top shell just on the edge. It is only because me monitor is showing lighter than usual so I guess it won't be picked up by most :) |

this is a great shot, but I a not sure it is demonstrating the sprit of the 2 second challenge...while it may have been a 2 second exposure, it might as well have been a 1/200 exposure if you know what I mean |
