You're right... that is Anderson, Perez is 9. I looked at my scorecard wrong. |

Are you sure that's Tomas Perez? I'm pretty sure Marlon Anderson wears #8. |

I thought it was a cute take on the fear theme, but I guess some of the other voters here aren't terribly familiar with baseball.
For those that don't know, it appears as though the batter is being walked intentionally... the pitcher is AFRAID to pitch to him....
Sheesh... this should have placed higher than it did. |

I'm wondering if the fear is coming from the pitcher being afraid of the batter, or the umpire being afraid of the fastball.. :) = 7 - jmsetzler |

Isn't a pitchout used when this guy will probably hit anything you can throw at him out of the park for the winning run? Or somethe'n like that anyway ;-) |

I don't follow baseball so I don't know who this is, but I see the point your're trying to make. Good job and a nice clean shot. Shey. |

The umpire looks a little more than nervous, too. Look at that sweat! I like the empty space on the left, and how it gives the batter, catcher, and ump somewhere to look. Maybe giving some saturation to the colors would have helped them from being kinda flat. karmat |
