 First time shooting gymnastics and I realy liked it. Wanted to do something different so I decided to make this one a high shadow photo with some highlights. Didn't take this especially for the competition. It just fitted so perfectly :)

Thanks for all the wonderful comments. I'm glad dpc'ers took it with open arms. Not usually pictures like this one that do well in challanges :) I'm pretty happy with it. First time I ever shoot gymnastics... and I kinda like it. I've got some more shots of the same event that I will post here on dpc shortly.

This is nicely done. I enjoy the tonality of the photograph. It does bother me a little that the composition is not symmetrical. I would like to see the figure in the exact center of the composition. My two cents. I rated this photograph well above average.

I really like this image. I keep coming back to it over and over again (and bumping up the score). I can almost feel the tension in this shot - it's terrific! And you nailed the technical low key aspect too. Great job.
