This would of worked a lot better with just the shell on its own. I am thinking that you have had a number of people say that already. Really, slightly deeper DOF and just the shell would of earned this an 8. However the flower is REALLLY distracting and lowers this to an average 5.. good try.

The shell is very nicely lit for low key - I'd have liked it better with just the shell alone, I think.

I like the shell, it is well lit and displays good lines and textures. I don't understand the reason to include the oof flower.

I would like to see just a hair brighter on the flower... the shell is perfect though...

Would have liked it better with deeper DOF so that the front of the shell was in focus.
