 A tribute to Hokie's Appealing Light (Painting With Light II challenge)

I just had to try this out. Went to the store, got a bag full of different kinds of apples, the red little tobacco apples were so shiny I couldn't resist using them. I used a blue led light to do the swirl, would have liked to have a better, more diffused light to avoid the light trail being so harsh.

Postprocessing was pretty basic. I adjusted white balance and levels in Digital Photo Professional, converted to JPG, cropped, cloned out a few dead pixels, resized, added border and then a little USM.

Great shot! My only problem is I wish it would of finished higher. IMO should of been a top 5 at least. Congratulation on a wonderful photograph.

We really like the color variation on this shot - evenmore so than the original. The blue and red give a distictly different feel. Good shot.
