 Taken with an EF-100mm f/2.8 USM macro lense. This is pretty much the full image as taken. I only cropped a piece off on both sides to get a near square crop.

The color changes are visually pleasing. The ribbon in the middle makes for a neat abstrat as the veins or lines ar oriented differently. Good idea.

This is a great shot. In my opinion it needs a little more contrast to seperate the edges, define the texture and really make it POP. Good artistic shot though.
