 I'm in Puerto Rico on vacation and have so many water pictures I can't decide which one to use! I hope I picked the best one, but I'm skeptical. I was high up on a cliff far above the water. The water was so clear that the coral reefs were clearly visible in the water. I can't attach filters to my P&S so I held my camera up to my polarized sunglasses to cut the glare on the water.

edit (not much b/c I don't have my photo editing software with me): move color towards blue to counter brownish color from my sunglasses (would love the "remove color cast" function right about now), increase sat a bit, I wish I had "burn" to correct the haziness at the horizon

This has potential to be one of those wow photos, but not as it exists currently. A bit more dodging of the highlights and adjustment to a brighter more saturated image would have really added a lot of impact. If you have an ability to attach a polarizer to your camera, try it and see. If you used a polarizer, putting your stops to add more light (+) would have helped initially to get a brighter image.

Looks interesting. Wish for more brightness, contrast, and an additional element like a diver, sailboat, etc.
