I was voting all yellow flowers a 4 because of lack of originality. This photo is the exception. It's a great photo. 9

An excellent macro showcasing all the unique beauty and detail of this bee busy at work! The hues of the yellow and the red of the flower are bold and vibrant. Love how sharp the focus is on the bee you can see all the details of it's body the hairy torso, the legs, and some of the wings. At the same time the focus is so sharp on the front portions of the bee and the flower it drops off sharply as we travel to the back wing and the flower in the background. While that is not bad in itself it would have been great to have a sharper depth of field if not on the flower but on ALL parts of the bee at least including that back wing. I have to say I really like the details and color that can be found in the wings and tis a shame that the back wing does not have the same sharpness and detail as the forewing.
