Challenge Entry No. 210

I racked my brain the whole week for this challenge. Then suddenly, I got it! Kinda like a light bulb being switched on in my noggin.

So this is it ;) I should have cleaned the light bulb. It took me forever to clone out the dust specks from the bulb. I took over 100 shots for this idea. This was the 10th shot. Who would have known ;)

Simple setup:
A yellow color poster board taped to a piece of wood at an angle with a clamp light below it. It was an an angle so I could get the gradiation of the shadows. I used my little pen light to create the light streaks. The lamp was on a dimmer switch where I could adjust the power output level by 16th power increments. Pretty sweet little gadget I picked up from a sales rep at the office.

I am hoping for a good score to help my Team 20D beat the "other Yellow team" :P

Well my friend it looks like I have your measure yet again!!! ;-) I trust you will sport the 'Pink' Batman with pride, I colour balanced my profile image especially.

Great execution of a very clever concept, well done.

PS - Care for another wager in a few weeks time, maybe we could go for 4 weeks next time???

This was one of the ones I voted on, Rikki. Also, one of the 10s (must have been voting very quickly at the time ;-) )

Very nicely executed. It looks like the bulb is floating. Well done.

Great idea, but imagin the back ground black. The yellow back grounf is just to much and takes away form the subjuct. Yes, light bulb stays as is!!

Bright idea! ;) Really like this one. Minor nitpick, photo might been a little oversharpened in some areas.

How'd you get the filament that low?! Cool image. Great job not getting any reflection off the bulb.
