Challenge: Yellow III (Advanced Editing IV)
Camera: Canon EOS-350D Rebel XT
Lens: Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro
Location: My living room
Date: Apr 1, 2006
Aperture: 4
ISO: 100
Shutter: 1/200
Galleries: Animals, Macro
Date Uploaded: Apr 2, 2006

Crop, rotate, tone-down highlights, curves, shift & lighten yellow in hue-sat, resize, USM.

This eagle is at the Mountsberg Conservation area, being cared for after it was found with its left wing caught in a wolf-snare. Now half of that wing is missing and it can no longer fly, though it tried a few times while I was there. Very sad indeed.

i'd love to be able to shoot something like this in my living room ;-)

excellent shot, slippy, and a nice finish in a monster challenge. i have that same lens, but hardly ever use it; i was thinking about selling it, but this shot makes me want to hang onto it.

OMG! I"m in love! I love these types of shots! The intensity in their eyes is just mesmerizing. The yellow on his mouth and around his eyes ( the beak is more orange) is very well done. The composition, hte setting, perfection in itself. A9
