Thanks for the great votes and the comments.
I wanted to make it a double refraction by capturing a bubble floating past a sunrise/sunset but alas...it was not to be. The weather was not in my favor all week.
This was one of the 'test' bubbles from the first day I decided to see how well it photographed. I had to chase after it - thus the blurry background. Didn't manage to get a good background for the rest of the week. But heck.....I am now an expert at producing bubbles.
And yes, that is a pepper plant.
Bubble mixture: 3 cups water (not hard); 1/8 cup or there abouts of the best dishwashing liquid on the market in your area; 1/8 glycerine or there abouts. Mix together - leave overnight or longer.
The 'bubble blower' I used was homemade. A reshaped plastic coated clothes hanger. This was actually not so great. Seek out a better one, if you are serious.

What a lovely shot! amazingly good capture of a bubble.

I am sure it is real, but I never have been able to capture one as good.

The dark tree behind really makes it stand out, and the colour saturation both in the background and the bubble is excellent

Hope you do well!

well done, this is a nice shot... I would have considered a square crop on this to take out the LHS

The 'bubble in the woods' idea strikes me as being fresh and novel. I like the general look of it, and there are lots of compositional choices I like. The field and house in the background to the left I find just too distracting.
