Simple example of refraction using a glass filled with water. Made a background using my computer's LCD monitor and a Powerpoint slide filled with the word "REFRACTION." Set the glass the proper distance away to get the effect I wanted and shot away. Not sure how this will do, but I wanted to put something in for the week. Go Team FZ!

I really like this shot. Because it is exactly as you describe. Simple. But simple in this case is very effective. Good job.

I still like this picture and I could imagine it in a physics book to teach kids what refraction is. I am sure after seeing this picture they wouldn't forget.

I think this picture speaks for itself. Very nice idea, well executed. The colour fringing shows the distortions in the glass, the refractions of imperfections, the rainbow fringing. Hope you do well with this shot

Lol, I think we get the idea very clearly! I'd probably take it out of center, though...?

Nicely done--it might have been a little more distinctive if the words were reversed in the background, and the right way around in the glass. The crop on top and bottom is bothering me, but I don't know how to change that.

Cool image, but you should have flipped the backgroud so that you could read REFRACTION in the glass. Nice simple idea though.
