Great vibrant colors and I like the crop. The fact that the flower and bee fill the frame really adds to the composition. Well done.

Hah... I was at the botanical gardens as well looking for an option for the yellow challenge. This is one I considered:



It probably would have done better then what I did enter but in the end I decided to go down the edgier side of things... ;-)

Great close-up of a busy bee doing what he does best..... I love the composition. I also love the delicate textures of the wings and the body of the bee.....Excellent.....A "10" from me as it deserves to be on the front page.....

Excellent colors, nice and vibrant and not too busy. I like the composition and the subject matter. Very nice macro feel. The use of natural light is good, only a few minor issues on the wings but really nothing too distracting. I think the one thing this image needs to really pop would be very sharp focus. I don't know that sharpening it more would help, but the initial focus being sharper would help give the bee even more definition and with the brilliant colors shown really make the whole image leap out at the viewer. 6

You got really close on this one, nice bokeh. Don't know about others but I find pink and yellow always clash..good photo though

Clever title! I am amazed by the sharpness and clairity of this photo. The details that you were able to capture on this perfectly yellow bumble bee are great. He looks so real. Your color combinations are beautiful too. I like the yellow and pink contrast.

Thos wings are totally transparent. WOW - that's a helluva macro!!! Spot on and the pink really makes for a nice compliment!
