::: Critique Club :::

Hi, my name is Kari and from the critique club. I think you drew the short straw and got me again ... here goes ...

First Impression - the most important one:
I think this is so funky! You have done well and I think this has appealed to a good range on the voters.

Composition:
It seems a little cut off on the left ... but I like the way that this works ... it would be hard to change without skewing the picture more.

Subject:
meets and excels at this challenge!

Technical (Colour and light):
Colours and DOF work really well ... it should say the aperture in the exif data on your JPG ... or the properties of the original pic.

To grow its vote?:
This is an above average shot giving true insight into the mind and room of a young photographer .. I think sharing this may have been a little nerveracking .. .cos I don't know that I could ... It is hard when some voters are not able to see the value of a picture.

Summary:
Sorry about your dog ... but I am sure you have many pics to remind you of him ... keep up the shooting you are always improving and challenging yourself which is good to see.

If you've got any questions about this critique, please feel free to contact me via the PM system.

Cheers

Kari

Like the use of the reflective nature of chrome surfaces. I think this is the key to a good shot in this challenge. Well done.

people will probably tell you that ths shot would have been better without the camera in it, but take that with a grain of salt, its a cool pic and i like it as a self portrait since having a camera along with the other interests in your room says more about you

Wish you had mirrored this in post-processing, then I could read the reflections. ;^) Creative take on the challenge. Good luck.
