We had a good brush fire going but didn't want to get the horse too close and had to wait till it burned down. It never did look like a campfire! I decided to submit this anyway since my hubby was such a good sport and posed for me. BTW, for the record, it's his movie choice, NOT mine!

Thanks everyone for the votes and positive comments.
My shy hubby (you were right-on Alpine99) did a wonderful job helping with the set up and posing for me. He is still disappointed, though, that HIS photo didn't make the top 10. He really got into tracking the scores, etc.
K-Rob, I tried sepia and it looked pretty good. I dismissed it for the same reason you mentioned. The original movie was in color. I mainly wanted to use sepia to get rid of the purple halter. We didn't even think about using a leather one until after we viewed the photos which was, of course, too late.

I've never seen the movie so I can't judge it on that aspect, but I like the composition and richly saturated color. Quite nicely done!

Good setup and one of the funniest scenes in the movie. Well done and good luck, Todd. 9.

My brother loves this movie although I have never seen it. I think that your setup here is great. I love the way you put the sadle and stuff in the lower right corner, that really adds a very nice touch in my opinion. Like I said, have't seen the movie, but with the way you got detailed, I assume it's a good representation. Focus and clarity are good, and I do really like the set up. ~Heather~

Your model is too shy.. It would have been better had he been looking at out of the frame.. great scene to pick btw!

Goos job setting this up. I think that a nice sepia tone would've been a nice touch. But then again, the original was in color so what am I thinking. =)
