| Poor focus overall. Looking back at past leaf shots that did well it seems as many are back lit to give a nice glow. Burning out the shadows may have helped bring out the detail a bit more. |

| I have a hard time trying to find an area which is in good focus. Also, the lighting can be perfected; there's too much glare for what I wold expect in this kind of shot. I don't know if the leaf was wet, but a diffuse or inderect light source would have yielded better results. |
