Wow! How did you do this? Did you move the camera while shooting or is it just dept of field? Awesome! |

really like this..the right side of the shot grounds the whole pic..in fact I am so enamored with the right that I sort of wish the orangey white left wasn't there..
it is that solid edge..nice work.. |

I really like this, particularly the color and I think it fits the challenge quite well, but I actually don't like that the title tells you what it is. I'd rather be left guessing. |

Hypothetically, I'd have likely given this a 7. Colors are nice and like the composition. Whilst difficult commenting on abstracts, the only two things that hold it back in my opinion are the slight beginnings of color clashing (just my opinion/taste) and the good old grain, especially in the darker areas. Looks like some type of green glass perhaps, or liquid of some description. |

I love this shot...an abstract with superb colour, line and form. I don't think that the noise hurts it at all...well done..lovely image

A nice photo in its own rights Neil, but it pales by comparisson to some of your other works. Although the colours are nice, they are not as vibrant as some of your previous submissions.
You know I love your work, but this one does not move me. In all probability I would have voted this in the 6, perhaps seven range.

Great colors and composition, I like how both seeem parallel each other, light to dark: focus to blur on the right and then that wonderful burst of light bright colors on the lower left.....sort of an abstract rule of thirds....very neat stuff....not sure but it might have worked for refraction of light as well. Do tell.

You should have entered. This is a wonderful abstract. The only thing you need to do is to adjust the noise. It was a bit grainy which would not have set well with the voters. Otherwise, fabulous colors and the shapes of the refraction are really nice. |

I really love it. Nice composition and colors. Very interesting abstract. I would have given it an 8 or 9. |
