 Took my exposure reading on the sky, sun in the background. This caused the cross to appear as a silhouette.

Grand Falls Cemetary. Tombstone cross.

Goddam 10D owners, just look at the state of that background will ya ... absolutely beautiful!
Shocked that this isn't up in the 6's where it belongs. Love the composition, love the silhouette, and I can't bear to look at that b/g any more : )

Excellent coloring including a very nice silloutte. I like the DOF also. Having it centered makes it more more dramatic, I like that.

One nit pick -- The right side of the cross between the pedestal and the cross beam has some "pixilation" There are two prominent spots near the cross beam among others.. It might be from the lighting not sure. My eye is drawn to them everytime for some reason.

Great tones and soft textures in the background - works well as a contrast to the sharp angles of the stone cross. Nice entry.

Very cool. It's a bit tilted to the right (tiny bit but noticable). Love the strong contrast. 7.

Excellent shot :) The tone here is perfect... it only needs a very minor tweak to level the top of the cross to be parallel with the top of the frame... great shot :)
