A biker couple at the Poteet Strawberry Festival, while watching a fiddling contest. I found all the medals they wore eyecatching.

Hi, my name is Kari and from the critique club.

First Impression - the most important one:
Makes me wonder about the places this photographer hangs out ... what a great capture.

Composition:
The crop may be the issue ... but this may be all you had to work with .. your commentators have mentioned several improvements .. try them out and see how that goes.

Subject:
Meets the challenge well ...

Technical (Colour and light):
She is not as sharp as him .. but then again .. what you gonna do go up and say hold still so I can take this picture .. you did good with what you got ...

To grow its vote?:
Add a little brightness play a little more with contrast ... and just keep learning from each thing you do ... that is the best way to learn.

Summary:
Good luck good shooting .. and keep it up.

Too short of a focal length - the lady is the one with the emotion and the guy is in focus....

I don't usually like comments or give them, but since candids are near and dear to my heart, I have decided to comment on every photo in this challenge.

Sunglasses and hats. The nightmares of candid photographers, and you captured both. Although the faces have good character features of what one can see, there is little here for a story or any wow factors. No emotions really being seen or felt. A 5 vote from me.
