ok, is your score where you wanted it to be? is it where you thought it would be? did you look at the results of candid II, or the first one? did you see anything that would inspire you to take this interpretation of the challenge? i'm asking rhetorically, because i really can't imagine why you would chose to submit this image. photographically, this needs work, as well. the focus is off, the lighting is off, and the composition doesn't really make the most of the subject. if your score isn't where you would like it to be, you might want to read this thread. |

I'm not much for receiving or giving comments, but since Candids are
near and dear to my heart, I have decided to give comment on every entry
in this challenge.
This may be a candid moment metaphorically, but as a candid photo, it is not even close. People, to me, and in my opinion, need to be shown doing something a bit out of the ordinary, unexpected, or extreme in order to tell a story through their faces or situations. This to me is a photo of a ring and not a candid. |

Nice moment. Unfortunately, it looks posed, which is the opposite of candid. More of the person and clearer/sharper would be better. |

This isn't "candid"; it's a set-up close-up shot. |

Clean those fingernails. This has a posed sense to me. I'd like to see the person caught off guard. |

This had a lowkey but with a very harsh light! Try to improve the lighting techniques. |
