I have a photo (of a completely different place) which is eerily similar in framing and shape outlines to this...I want to run the "FIND EDGES" filter in Photoshop and superimpose the two. |

This is nice, a touch "plain", but nice. Seems serene enough, but I don't think I would enjoy staring at the dirt hill in the background. 7 Swash |

nice placement o the bench within the frame, and an ok view, too. would be nicer if it was more green, but i know that's outside of your control. what's inside your control (potentially) is the lighting. the shadow from the bench is quite harsh. was there a way of taking this in the late afternoon or early morning to have softer light (and maybe even a colorful sky depending on whether you are facing the right way?) -- gr8photos (5) |

Its OK as a picture of places you've been to, but as a picture in its own right, the landscape here is a bit uninteresting. |

Nice composition. There is something that isn't quite right - to me that is. I don't care for the overexposed bench and surrounding dirt - it is distracting and takes away from the rest of the photo - wonder what it looks like in b/w or with a different dof? Anyway - still a good composed photo. Nice work. Ruthann |

this seems silly but next time maybe try rotating the picture a little so the pond doenst appear to be draining off to the left of the frame. |

Good composition--the bench lifts it from a plain landscape |

This is a very nice idea, but it's lacking in color. With a shot like this I feel like there should be fields of wildflowers or something to add color. |

it doesn't have much of a view though... |

The bench is nicely located on a third line but this image is missing something... maybe a person on the bench facing the water? = 5 - jmsetzler |

Pretty good composition... You might have waited until later in the day so there was a different angle on the shadow. Black and white might also look good here as well. |
