Composition is good. Sky is kind of bright. The bird flying helps give it some interest. Some good looking shadows in the building and face of the bust. A little tweaking with the contrast and brightness should help.

A very compelling image. At first glance, I didn't like it, and was ready to score it low...but I left it for a while, went to sleep, and came back with a fresh outlook, and now like it very much! It's grainy appearance works quite well in giving the structure an old, ancient and possibly decaying look that gives the impression of history and antiquity.

Compositionally, I initially felt frustrated at not being able to see the entire structure, but now I like your angle-of-view and the way the right-angle aspect of the challenge comes right "in-your-face" on the left side of the picture giving emphasis to the statue-head. With the stark grey sky and bird above, there is good balance, and even with a dull and blown out sky, the tonal contrasts between the structure (I'm going to guess it's a mausoleum) and sky work well.

The feeling I get from this image is mystical or mythological, as if the bird is an omen to the soothsayers, or prophets, from the gods above (my own whimsical interpretation). I like the way you've captured the position of the bird which gives the image a feeling of mystery. The lighting, while harsh, also adds credence and cohesiveness to the picture giving the impression of extreme conditions, such as strong winds, emotions, or issues.

Technically, I think the photo has probably been overly post-processed (in contrast, brightness and maybe levels) from the original, but makes for a good artistic interpretation on your part. The B&W rendition is perfect but I would also like to see it monotoned with a very light green or gold. Good job!

it looks like she's grimacing because she sees the bird coming over, afraid she'll be a bulls eye. i like the humor in this, but a bit overly bright.

the bird passing over is a very nice touch. hope you didn't have to wait too long for him to happen by!

if it were not for the bird, which I like, good catch, nice touch, I would closed in moor on the head . The area directly below the head is not as interesting as that to the right or above the portal.....himmm do include the bird maybe a pano cut..,...not sure. interesting none the less....could use less shadow on the head as well.
