Grainy, but this is what makes this piece so nice. Old tool with the look of the photo. Great composition.

I like your interpretation of the challenge and the composition of the image. Given the precision of the joinery, I think sharp focus would be more effective. With a stationary subject you can use a tripod or bench to hold the camera steady. This should help with sharp focus even if there is not much light.

nice shot,I like the subject and the composition. however it looks real grainy. Maybe some different lighting and camera settings would have produced a crisper pic

The eye is taken to the square, that is a good thing. but, it is out of focus and the image appears to have blown out some how sorry:( 4

A little fuzzy, and I think a higher camera angle would have made joint more prominent.

spoiled by lack of focus. I like the grainy feel but you've either lost the colour of the wood, or taken it out, and as a result the image seems a little flat..
