Shots from below have a certain appeal for me. IMO a little contrast and different lighting would have helped but then again maybe that would have changed what you were intending? Nice softness and colour.

It's really weird but there's one of these in the 'Something New' challenge too. That makes me one mighty confused little bunny right now!

Great shot, good composition and dof and I love the touch, just the slightest hint of colour from the background, that simple thing really makes this image very special.

Oh, and on balance, I think dandelion heads must be 'Something Old' since this is the stage after they've flowered and lost their petals.

I saw this one in the 'something new' challenge - heh (probably not the same one, but that says something about the originality of the image)

Not quite sure on how this is "old," but I absolutely love the shot.

6 for me

Good and beautiful picture. Where is the old part?

Old is kind of a stretch for this. I find new ones like this all the time in my yard. :-) The DOF works well with this shot. It would be very easy for this to get lost in the background but you did a good job of preventing that.

Funny, there is a photo of one of these in the "something new" challenge. Depends on your point of view I guess. This looks a little washed out; more contrast might help.
