 Yep - that's me... and those crow's feet are not getting smaller with age!

This was taken in my dining room with a white wall as background. I used two flashes - 1 pointed to the ceiling over my head to highlight my hait and another one bouned off the ceiling in front of me to light up my face.

There is lack of light under my chin but I had to do with what I had at hand.

There are lots of simple portraits in the challenge, but this one seems very real and casual. The clothing looks like everyday, casual wear, and the smile seems more genuine than some of the others. Overall a well captured shot!

He does not exactly scream "weathered" in my opinion.
But nonetheless, a good potrait that looks professionally done.
I like his smile, by the way, he loooks very much a nice guy :)
Good work on this, and you might want to try another placement for the lights.

Are, is that you? Nice shot but the eyes a little bit too dark compared to the rest of the shot, a little fill lighting close and from the right would have improved this shot a lot but other than that pretty good :)

i think it would have been better ifn you could have done a better job of erasing the shadow from the flash. i think it is more distracting than the actual shadow would have been. probably just for someone who photographs though.
