It has a right angle, no? Post shot adjustments included a slight rotation (1.80 degrees counter-clockwise), followed by cropping. Then (slight) sharpening, level, and color adjustments.

great pic the lighting and chrome works well together. 7 because I like the pic and because you keep your tools so clean

This would be awesome in b/w and with a seamless background.

The only flaw I can find in the picture is that the edge of the surface is visible in the top third

Not a bad idea but the shot feels uninspired. There's no story here.

The best composed piece of the contest. Reflections are beautiful. Love the lighting. Great b&w look without taking it in b&w. I can almost feel the cold metal of the socket.Focus is spot on.

I can honestly say that this is one of the better shots of the group. Congrats

I like how clean is that tool, the color tone is also well choosen, but the reflections and the sharp shadow shouldn't be there, it's better to use softer light to create soft shadows and ger rid of the reflections. But overall a good picture

I would have liked to see a more interesting background for this, but I really like the lighting.

Great lighting and depth of field!

this is a great shot, but I am not suee that the angle is the main thrust here...the main interesting is on the front portion at the ratchet is set at a fine angle but is not itself angular....
08/06/2003 04:25:58 PM
Very good macro!

I like this, especially the way it looms out of the darkness in the background. I think you have done a very good job on the lighting, it doesn't appear too dark for me at all, although you'll probably get some comments saying it is too dark. You also chose a very interesting perspective by presenting your right angle in a way that it shown squared to fit the image frame, but rather at an angle.
