a super idea, ma dear. i do like the fact that whole isn't blue, as it does look like the blue is 'emmanating' from the egg, as it were. and, yes, so nice not to see a flower or a baby...

interesting, and funny too. a great combo.

thanks for the thoughful comment on my windows one. i must say, you've imbued it with much more deep thought than i did!

Again, a fine concept and a very decent image. I might have tried to avoid the strict horizontal lineup of eggs across the top. As others have noted, the not-all-blue egg is a bit of a problem also. I wonder if actually PAINTING the egg with a wash of food color would have helped? That said, this is overall very competent work, and very imaginative as well. I like it!

Thanks for all your comments :)
Yes, the whole egg should be blue, but with the led penlight I have I couldn't manage to get it to light the whole thing without getting a hotspot in the middle of the front, so I did the best I could to get an even light over as much as possible.

What? 86th place? I voted this one the best of the bunch. I thought it was technically good and a new witty idea.

Not another picture of some child or flower. I wish I had a dollar for every flower I saw, I'd be rich.

Sorry, you were gypted.

Very nice idea!! Lighting looks good in this shot, and I like that the hatching egg is accentuated by the blue light.

nice idea, but blue is a tad oversaturated and contrast a bit low
