 A Maple shoot on the tree in the parking lot I saw as soon as I got out of my car this morning.

Copy it, paint over them and see what it looks like. I did and thought it lost it's depth and having them in there actually helped balance the shot as a real-world encounter vs. a sterile studio kinda' shot.

Like the lighting, the texture of the tree, and the crispness of the new growth. I might have liked a bit more room on the right to balance the tree trunk. Good subject for the challenge.
