from the critique club, Hi Jimmy
One of the best wedding photos I've ever seen. The detailing and contrat os first class - especially on the flowers. The highlighting of the rings is absolutely wonderful - this would win all sorts of competitions, I'm sure.
The reason it didn't win this one is because of the subject, obviously. Whilst it could quite happily be the future for many, it isn't specifically so. Can't say I'm sad about that - else you'd be way up above my shot :-)

I'm back to add this to my favorites. I think this should have placed higher, although 10th is nothing to complain about. It was nice to see a traditional photograph amongst the digital art. This was my favorite interpretation of the challenge by far. Keep up the good work. |

This is a perfect picture!! Good job! I don't think the bride needs a manicure. No one is perfect even on their wedding day. Excellent shot! |

This is a very nice shot and suits B&W so well. I wonder what this would have looked like with just the large flower left with color in it's petals. Good luck. |

I like this shot, and I am a sucker for black and white. I feel like I want just a touch more brightness to this though. The overall feel is somewhat dark to me. I also find my eyes bouncing up and down trying to look at the hands, but then being drawn away by the more complex pattern of the flowers. |

Beautiful shot... and a nice approach to the subject. In spite of the fantastic tonal range, I'm not certain B/W was the best choice given the mood of the shot-- perhaps full-color or some variation of a sepia-toned shot would have imparted a stronger feeling of warmth and love. Just my opinion, however, so take it for what it's worth... --9 |

Nothing better than the future of a newlywed coulpe. Nice B&W. Flowers a beautiful. Would have liked to seen it in color. (8) |

Those flowers totally don't even look real. This looks like a painting! Good job. |

Superb shot. Very good sharpness. My question is, why is it b&w. This would express the idea of future together so much nicer in colour. But I am not didacting any points for that. Well done. 8 |
