 Rubbed oil onto the chilis and used cocktail sticks to keep them from moving off of eachother. I then sprinkled water onto them. Oil repels the water nicely. I really think this is my best one yet, hope the voters agree. I would love to place top 50!

Cropped
Curves adjustment layer to set white point in the red and blue channels - applied to whole image
Hue/Sat adjustment layer to boost red and greens - applied to whole image.

wow. great colors. not sure if thats natural shadowing or vinetting added in post but draws the eye in to the peppers well. much nicer than a full stark white background would have been. love it.

Somehow I like and dislike this one at the same time... I can't argue with the skill of the picture, good light, composition, focus, etc.. there is just something about the subjects... Well done!

Now this is effective! Great use of complementary colours here. I really like the lush feel of this photo, you have made these chillies look so freash and crisp!

the arrangement of these isnt particularly apetizing. somehow they seem like sausages. try looking at a cookbook in the bookstore to see how these are professionally presented :)

Nice composition, I like the tight crop but would have preferred to see it cropped just outside the edges of the peppers.

4 - The reflections/glare detract too much in my opinion. Fairly good detail in the fore parts though. 'Works', especially for stock photography style, etc.
